As might be expected, the technical rehearsal focuses
on the technical aspects of a production – the
lighting, sound effects, props and stage effects – and
is when the production team makes its final on-site
adjustments. Before the technical rehearsal of the
PolyU Theatre’s inaugural performance, there will be
a special guided backstage tour where you can
discover some of the theatrical tricks behind the
scenes.
The dress rehearsal is the final rehearsal before the
performance: all the costumes, stage set, lighting and
sound are exactly as they will be for the actual
performance. The two rehearsals and backstage tour,
exclusive to PolyU members, will make you realize
just how much hard graft goes into a successful
production.
顧名思義，技術綵排就是技術方面所作的排練，以
測試佈景、燈光、音響、道具、舞臺效果等方面，
遇上問題，便即時調整或修正。技術綵排前，我們
將帶你深入理大劇團創團演出的後臺，為你揭開
舞臺背後鮮為人知的一面。
總綵排則是公演前的最後綵排，戲服、佈景、燈光、
場景、音響、舞臺效果，均與公演無異。臺上的旖旎
風光，全賴臺前幕後一眾人員通力合作、精確排練，
方能成就。這次機會難能可貴，令你可盡悉是次
演出公演前的最後部署。
