There are lots of interpretations and analysis works on Les Demoiselles d’Avignon. There are several articles analyzing it based on the Primitivism. Also, there are journals saying this painting is the first, or the start point of the Cubism. Put aside these analysis, I will share my own interpretation on Les Demoiselles d’Avignon.
In my opinion, because of its colors, Picasso’s Les Demoiselles d’Avignon is the painting with personalization of ideas: Philanthropy, Equality, and Liberty.
