It is true that considerable part of Frieze art fair, one of the top three art fairs in the world, is taken by big galleries and famous artists. Many of visitors wanted to see famous artist’s works like Jeff koons and Murakami Takashi. A notable example is “The other art fair” and Moniker art fair that rising young artists and galleries participate. These art fairs also open during Frieze week. And almost visitors are young people who just started collecting art because of lower prices than Frieze London.
Because of the coexisting of two kinds of art fair, International art fair that is making more and more expensive taste and “Satellite art fairs” that are making new target market, every October is the most exciting and hottest time in London art market.
