Q: Please tell me how a contemporary artist’s life is. And, what aspect is the most attractive as an artist?
A: Well, I am not sure if this ‘artist’ position makes my life stable. When I meet my friends in Korea, I sometimes feel envious of them who work for a secure company or already have a family. However, I believe the reason some of them also may respect for me is the name of ‘Artist’ is valuable as it is. I am trying to make my daily life exciting. I feel confident once I hold my camera. I will be warmhearted when I commune with subjects in the lens. Besides I feel I am blessed when I reveal my works to the public and people become happy. The most important thing in my life is to work for what I want and to live with people who I love.
He made the notion of ‘Artist’ easy to be aware of. His love and happiness are pretty close to us.
