Both of works are full of humors. They make laugh and feel happy. It might because that the works are not difficult like David’s French Revolutionary paintings. Hasegawa Yosuke and André Levy’s works are familiar and easy to understand.
There might be critics on these ‘money arts. They might think it violates the value of currency and the value of artworks as portraits of famous figures. Also, there might be someone who blames artists in the political view.
Actually, there were complains on these ‘money’ works. On October 25 of 2013, André Levy left his thought about recent blame about his work form people, who blame him and his works in political view, on “Tales you lose” facebook account.
