ART MADNESS Vol 02 Summer Edition | Page 62

Working on clouds & drawing an imagery for creating scenes out of it. Tell us more what clouds mean to you? I love the sensation we get by looking at a cloud. A cloud is light, it lets itself get carried away by the wind and it has no worries. I’m going to say it, I would love to be a cloud... (should I seek therapy?) Creating artwork with clouds allows me to forget about the rest of the world. I think of nothing else while looking for the cloud that I’ll integrate. All the clouds are beautiful, and all different, which leaves an infinite space for the imaginary... How you describe your artwork? It’s not up to me to describe my work. I create be- cause I believe that art is my outlet. If I create a piece on Monday, it will mirror my mindset on Monday. Had I been any different on Monday, the piece could've not been done. I listen to loads of mu- sic while working. My work varies according to my moods... I hope that people find the gentleness that I try to transmit. It seems you're into nature!. Do you use your own pictures to work on it? Why nature espe- cially? Trick question. Unfortunately, I don’t use my own photos. I don’t have the necessary equipment yet to be able to take pictures at the top of the Everest! My work is therefore centered on the search for the pictures I will involve. On the occasion, I would like to thank all the photographers that voluntarily post their pictures with free access to artists like myself. I attempt to buy the pictures from the photographers whenever I can, even when they are originally free. I mainly find them on Unsplash and Pexel. How do you think your artworks affect your audience ? I only hope that my work makes them feel a certain way. Whether it’s pleasure, interrogation, anger or lassitude, it is all good enough. 63
