music. After I graduated from my
masters, I took abstract painting
lessons as an attempt to reawaken the
artist that I had put aside. The
distinction between music and art (or
any two art forms) is not as clear--‐cut
as we may think. My art is strongly
influenced by my musical instincts, and
my music always had strong visual
connotations. So to answer your first
question, this experience has made me
desire to be a more "honest" artist who
embraces the multiplicity of
personalities instead of a singular,
simplified version.
