In the process of the production of my
artwork I do not involve audience
considerations. I work on my own
research and after the artworks are
presented, I can see the reactions and
ways in which the spectators find the
meaning and value in them.
As you mentioned, the artworks are open
for different interpretations and
understanding . In the process of
conceptualization of my artwork, I always
gravitate towards general description,
which will not limit itself only on one
natural occurrence, but rather on one
rule or occurrence which is applicable
and present in more discourses. In that
way, the artworks stay more open for
interpretation, which on the other hand
gives a chance to the public to
incorporate their experiences in the
artwork. This brings a deeper interaction
between the spectators and artwork. The
artworks do not present absolute and
unquestionable truth, but a basis and
structure on which, later on, the
spectator builds meaning.
Currently, I am working on my Master’s
degree project. In it, I am exploring
realistic sensory space which surround
contemporary man, and the ways they
form him. The idea is that the work is
presented in the form of installation in
natural surroundings. Also, I am working
on the series of digital drawings called
“Identity”, where I explore the value of
identity in this time of new media.
Besides this, I work on a series of relief
artworks which continues the idea of
movement, which was started in the
drawing series “Flow”. I think that the
artworks will continue to develop with the
usage of new materials and technologies
from the conceptual aspects of the
modern man.
