where to
satisfy YOUR
Sweet
Tooth
By Chandler Baird | spokaneeats.net
I
have a really, REALLY bad sweet tooth. I blame my mom for
teaching me it’s perfectly OK to eat cookies for breakfast, and after
each meal, and late at night. I love you Mom, but I’ll never under-
stand how you stay so skinny.
Boots bakery & lounge

U
nlike my mom, I rarely have cookies for breakfast, but when I
Boots is a completely vegan
do, it’s a No-Bake cookie from Boots Bakery. The No-Bake cookies and mostly gluten-free
at Boots are made with oats and mixed with nuts and dried fruit, so bakery. Their menu changes
they are a healthy breakfast. At least that is what I tell myself. This is daily based the ingredients
hands down the tastiest no-bake cookie I have EVER had. They are that are brought to them by
chilled and moist and I think about them far more than I would like local farmers. The ambi-
to admit. ance in this cafe is warm
and inviting. You can relax
and work on your comput-
er, chat with other locals,
or nestle into a booth
and read a book. You’ll
fit right in. Don’t be afraid to
try Boots even if you aren’t vegan or gluten free. Their vegan
dishes are so good you won’t miss the meat. If you are vegan or
gluten-free, this is your safe haven!
