W
e must continue with this struggle to
banish illiteracy, disease and poverty, one
step at a time.
The Friends of Sironka Dance Troupe
opened a door that has ushered in many
more Maasai dance troupes to go “out
there” and “Use what they have, to get what
they need!”
Nicholas, you are to be commended for your
efforts and we thank you for sharing your
story with us. Where can people see The
Friends of Sironka Dance Troupe perform?
I am now working to fill out a schedule that
runs from October 6 th to December 23 rd .
Most of the first three weeks are quickly
getting filled. We hope that elementary
schools, middle schools and high schools in
and around Spokane will take this opportu-
nity to secure a date from the dance troupe
to visit their school. All our past visits to
schools have been extremely well received.
Theatres, colleges and universities are
also very welcome. Our presentations are
tailor-made to suit all age groups.
To crown it all, church performances are
our favorite Sunday service event.
We share our faith, and through our songs
and gospel tune renditions, we trust that
hearts are moved to feel from within what
we know God does—He makes everything
better!
But it must never be forgotten that with-
out the help and loving support of many
Americans in this great country, this would
probably be an effort in futility. My deepest
gratitude goes out to every American who
has given of their time, money, housing and
resources to help make our vision a reality!
