Art Chowder March | April 2018, Issue 14 | Page 4

From the I Publisher Dean Cameron r eflect on the line given by Roy Scheider in the 1975 blockbuster Jaws. He utters this when he gets a good look at the size of the shark that is circling the small fishing boat he is on, “We’re going to need a bigger boat!” I have to say that sometimes we face that same scenario with Art Chowder. We recently added eight additional pages to the magazine, allowing us to fit content in that we were previously having to push out due to space. We are finding, like the new house you buy thinking you will have all the room in the world, that you fill that up just as fast! In this issue we are thrilled to share the artistic talents of Victoria Brace and Ron Adamson; the toe-tapping, grooving vibes of House of Soul; the worthy and exciting opportunities [with some cool shoes] to support Teen and Kid Closet and much more. So, let’s get engaged in our community! If you have not yet subscribed to Art Chowder, we invite you to do so on our website ArtChowder.com. Our region has many, many wonderful stories to share and experiences to be made known. Art Chowder brings you the best our region has to offer, and we provide it with pride— even if we need to get a “bigger boat.” Dean Cameron 4 ART CHOWDER MAGAZINE
