thing that can be taught in a classroom.”
While the Gonzaga University interns are
all potters, their approaches to ceramics
are diverse. It is fascinating that several
are pursuing careers in the hard scienc-
es, yet see an intrinsic value in working
with one’s hands. During a recent visit to
the Gonzaga ceramics studio, the interns
shared these insights.
