Food Bank a beneficiary of their

In total, the Walmart Foundation
raised more than $145,000 for the
North Texas Food Bank! That’s
the equivalent of more than
436,700 nutritious meals. Thank
you again, Walmart Foundation,
for helping feed hungry children,
families and seniors.

Mistletoe Sales
Two of NTFB's youngest
supporters, Stella Wrubel and her
friend Quinn Graves, were back
at it this holiday season selling
mistletoe to benefit the North
Texas Food Bank. With the help
of their friends and family, and
a match of $5,000 from Highland
Park Village, Stella and Quinn
raised more than $38,000! These
funds will go a long way towards
feeding hungry families —
providing access to more than
114,000 meals!
Abbott Laboratories and
Feeding America Team Up
to Feed Hungry Kids
Hungry children across North
Texas will receive a weekend
backpack filled with nourishing
food thanks to a generous grant
from Abbott Laboratories and
Feeding America.
This $10,000 grant in support
of the North Texas Food Bank's
Food 4 Kids program will provide
the equivalent of 6,673 meals
for children in need. Our most
sincere thanks to our friends
at Abbott Laboratories and
Feeding America—your support
will provide food and hope for
hungry kids.
At this year’s Empty Bowls
event, guests will enjoy lunch
at the Morton H. Meyerson
Symphony Center, while
supporting the North Texas
Food Bank. In addition to soup
and other bowl-friendly fare
from 20 of North Texas’ finest
restaurants, attendees can select
a handcrafted bowl from local
artists as a memento of the day.
