than nine out of every
10 – now go to a good or
outstanding school.

A
n impressive 95% of
Ealing pupils now go to
a primary or secondary
school judged to be
good or outstanding by Ofsted (the
government’s school inspection body).
As Around Ealing went to press, this
put Ealing as the fourth highest in
the country – out of 163 authorities in
England – in terms of the percentage of
schools rated good or outstanding.
Every secondary school in the borough
was graded good or outstanding.
A handful of primary schools fell just
short of this standard but are on-track
to be judged good, or better, by the
next inspection.

of the high quality teaching and
learning that goes on in our schools.
Naturally, local families want the
best start for their children and our
schools are delivering on this.
