with milestones. This year is
the 50th anniversary of Ealing
Council in its current form, you
may be interested to know;
but it is also the anniversary of
historical events of a much wider significance,
two of which you can read about on pages 46-47.
Meanwhile, a century on from the First World War,
two local soldiers who died in the combat have
been recognised (see page four).
