Copley residents have been impressed with what they see , as apprentice Alex Gray explained : “ There ’ s been a lot of interest – more and more people are interested in what is going on and their involvement means that we are building a consensus about what the community wants for these spaces .
“ I am really proud of the work we have done here and I ’ m certainly learning lots .”
‘ ANOTHER EXCELLENT EXAMPLE ’ Councillor Mik Sabiers , cabinet member for environment and highways , said : “ This is another excellent example of how Transform Your Space can create local partnerships that can make a difference and I ’ m proud of the results at Copley .
“ It is one of a growing number of impressive projects , big and small , being completed across the borough thanks to Transform Your Space .
“ I ’ d encourage anyone inspired by what they see to think about what they could do in their own area – and keep an eye out for the next round of Transform Your Space funding later this year .” Read about other successful Transform Your Space projects at ealingnewsextra . co . uk – search for ‘ Transform Your Space ’
