ADMISSIONS
established secondary schools through
the co-ordinated system because there
is no guarantee at this point that the
new schools will open in 2017.
GET ADVICE
You can attend the council’s
admissions fair on 5 October 2016,
between 4–8pm, at Ealing Town
Hall in the Liz Cantell room. Or
call to book an appointment for an
individual admission advice session
at Perceval House, on 12, 13 and 14
October and between 10am–4pm.
Councillor Binda Rai, the council’s
cabinet member for children and
young people, said: “Choosing which
high schools to apply for can be quite
daunting, especially if it is the first time
that you’re going through this process.
“The admissions fair and advice
sessions are the ideal opportunity to
ask our admissions team questions and
find out why it is crucial to avoid errors
such as only choosing one school;
returning the forms late; or making
unrealistic choices; because these
errors can impact on which school your
child will be offered a place at.”
