HOSPITALS

Hands off our hospitals

Despite widespread opposition to planned cuts to hospital services , the NHS is continuing to press ahead with plans to spend £ 300million to close the ‘ blue light ’ A & E and other vital services at Ealing Hospital .
The NHS proposals include a reduction of 500 hospital beds in north-west London and the downgrading of both Ealing and Charing Cross hospitals from district general hospital to ‘ local hospital ’ status . Both hospitals would see their A & Es close , replaced with the equivalent of urgent care
