One of his passions which he ventured
into was acting. We had watched how
enthusiastic he was about acting,
and he made the dream into a reality
when the opportunity arose.
He debuted in the historical drama
“Hwarang,” and although he does have
good memories about his experience,
he also learned a hard lesson.
Taehyung shared in the series “Burn The
Stage” how he felt pressured to perform
well and felt bad when something didn’t
come out right. When he would forget
his lines and the Seoul dialect was
difficult for him, that aspect took a toll
on him, but it led to his growth as
a person.
He learned that although he has to solve
his problems himself, that didn’t mean
he was by himself. Taehyung never
likes to worry others, so he didn’t share
how much acting and performing
was getting to him, but he grew to
understand that he always had support
and that the best way to achieve your
goals is to know when to express your
feelings and not let them consume you.

Although it’s impossible to know
for sure if he is expressing himself
entirely, it feels like he has opened
up more by sharing his way of
thinking and the hard times he
has had. He seems a little less
afraid to be emotionally open,
which is a great step, and we as
ARMYs appreciate his trust in us.
His work in “Hwarang” shows just
how dedicated he is and how
responsible he can be. He grew
from that experience as he took in
every lesson. His ability to take
direction and still maintain the bub-
bly personality that makes people
love him is a trademark of his.
Although performing as well as he
did in “Hwarang” was not an easy
task and it demanded so much
from him, he overcame it.
Tae has also expanded his
passions into photography, art,
and fashion. As time has passed,
we have seen him develop his own
sense of style that makes him
confident and which he shows off
like a professional model.
His photos are always a delight to
see, as they become little windows
into how he sees the world around
him. Having the opportunity to
witness his growth there, too,
is wonderful since we see his
evolution behind and in front of
the cameras. His love for art has
also grown, and he has shared
what catches his attention and
what type of art moves him.
