“ When did you start your career in Records and Information Management ?” I started my career in Records and Information Management almost 10 years ago . Back then I never heard of Records Management as a job / career when I applied for the job but felt that with my experience in auditing it was definitely something I could do . Once I was hired and started my job as a

“ Have you earned any certifications from ARMA , AIIM , or other professional organizations ? Tell us !”

" What would the name of your debut album be ?"
“ I Did It My Way ” “ What do you feel is your strength in Records and Information Management ?” There are a few things I can think of but the most important strength I have as a Records Manager is being tenacious and being detailed oriented .
Records Manager I was excited to learn of the In formation Governance side of records management . Specifically , I could see that Information Governance took Records Management to a whole other realm of possibilities . It was then , back in 2007 , that I decided Records and Information Management was the career wanted to pursue . For this answer to make any sense you need to understand that my current position is my only position as a records and information manager . I think a key accomplishment met in my current position came early on . Back in 2008 I spear headed a project of scanning 29 file cabinets full of very active records . Specifically , over 650,000 pages of paper records were scanned , indexed and stored electronically . After scanning was completed and the scanned records were uploaded to the computer system I created / implemented procedures to check the scanned records
By hearing your stories in managing records and information I ’ m inspired to do my job better .
