Kurt Thies is an entrepreneur, advisor, writer
and speaker, focusing on disruptive innovation,
with over 20 years of experience as a strategic
advisor and domain expert in Information
Lifecycle Management including: Solution
development, Business strategy, Business
development, C-Level Sales, Strategic
partnerships, Enterprise content management,
Information governance, Deep Industry
Expertise, Cloud-based, data governance,
Metadata management, Solution innovation,
Process management, Professional services,
Cloud repositories, and Global enterprise
solutions.
Kurt’s first company was Counselor Software
Development that provided legal automation and
litigation support software. This was used in
several prominent trials and help pioneer the use
of technology in law firms.
Kurt then founded Accutrac Software, Inc. that
provided the Accutrac Records Management
system used by leading law firms, government
agencies and corporations. It is used by many
Fortune 500 companies globally. Accutrac
Software Inc. was acquired by Iron Mountain,
the $3 billion global leader in records
management. Kurt spent the next several years
developing Iron Mountain’s unified solution for
physical and electronic records in partnership
IBM, Microsoft and others. Kurt focused on
strategy and innovation across Iron Mountain’s
global customer base, improving the process and
management of information.
Kurt then began his relationship with TAB
Products Co. LLC and brings his vast background
and experience in Information Lifecycle
Management to expand TAB’s focus on
technology and advisory services. TAB Products
Co. LLC. Services include the design and
implementation of enterprise-wide document and
records management solutions for Fortune 1000
companies, resulting in operational efficiencies,
cost reductions, improvements to access and
speed of information retrieval, risk and litigation
management, as well as industry and legislative
compliance.
