October 10, 2015 Is Electronic Records Day?
The National Association of Government Archives and Records Administrators
(NAGARA) is pleased to join the Council of State Archivists (CoSA) and the Society of
American Archivists (SAA) in promoting Electronic Records Day on Saturday, October
10, 2015.
E-Records Day began in 2012 as a way to raise awareness among state government
agencies, the general public, related professional organizations, and other stakeholders about the crucial role electronic records play in their world.
Since E-Records Day falls on a Saturday this year, join us in promoting it as a whole
week of awareness from October 5th - 10th! Socially, you can join in on the conversation on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and other social media outlets to share information abut what your organization is doing to help preserve electronic records. Use
the hashtag #ERecsDay and be sure to tag @InfoNAGARA in the conversation!
