These pieces will be positioned throughout Arlington for three years and also serve as a reminder of the bounty of opportunities Arlington provides. DREAM: September marked a momentous occasion with the debut of DREAM, Downtown Arlington’s first major piece of public art. The installation – 54 feet wide, 12 feet tall and four feet deep – consists of five steel letters spelling out the word “dream.” Recognizing the power public art has to unite citizens and celebrate community, the Arlington Tomorrow Foundation board awarded $25,000 to the Downtown Arlington Management Corporation to help secure this iconic sculpture which boldly announces dreams are reached in Arlington.
