The staff at Thornton Elementary sent their thanks to the Arlington
Sunrise Rotary for providing lunch and goodies as they kicked off the
school year.

Congratulations to Martin High School sophomore
Trinity K. for being selected to play in the Nature
Valley First Tee Open at Pebble Beach. King won
the Fort Worth Junior Girls Championship and has
participated in The First Tee program since 2012,

Service First Mortgage Arlington donated backpacks and school
supplies to the kindergarteners, pre-K students and teachers at Foster
Elementary as part of their passion with a purpose campaign.

Thursday Sept. 15 was the annual Constitution
Parade for kindergarteners at Ashworth
Elementary. They paraded through the halls and
ended their morning outside practicing the pledge.
In an effort to get more dads involved at school, the AISD hosted its first
All Pro Dad Draft Day. The event was in conjunction with All Pro Dad,
which focuses on finding ways to connect with children in school. The
draft was for AISD elementary, junior high and high schools.
