A team of Bailey Junior High staff members worked to create an AED ( Automated External Defibrillator ) emergency plan and has been recognized by Cook Children ’ s Medical Center as a Project ADAM Heart-Safe School .
First graders at Morton Elementary got a visit from Fox 4 Weather meteorologist Ali Turiano . She talked to them about weather , what it takes to become a meteorologist and science and math , too .
