Kooken Education Center students and staff held a Storybook
Character Parade, dressing in costumes based on their favorite
storybook character.

At Shackelford Junior High, the librarian has used the
Transformation Through Innovation grants to enhance the library’s
makerspace.

Pearcy Elementary received a grant from James Patterson
and the Scholastic Reading Club for its library, part of the
#PattersonPledge.

Texas Rangers/Medical Center Arlington All-Star Fitness Rally
at Crow Elementary.

Noreen Offerman from Williams Elementary participated in a
nationwide holiday storytelling event hosted by ESC Region 11 via
videoconference with students in classrooms across the country.

The AISD Board of Trustees honored and thanked Mission
Arlington/Mission Metroplex by presenting a plaque to Tillie
Burgin for all the excellent work they do for our community.
