Ashworth Elementary celebrated their 20th Anniversary with a
ceremony on Nov. 12.

Little Elementary Student Council students served at Mission
Arlington/Mission Metroplex to help with organizing items for the
Christmas Store.

The AISD was well represented in the Arlington Holiday Lights
Parade. Many AISD organizations participated in the parade that
was held on Dec. 5.

Retired principal Robert Cox brought his horse Annie to the
Fitzgerald Career Day, inspiring students to find what they are
interested in and pursue their dreams.

AISD Superintendent Dr. Marcelo Cavazos cheerfully helped
serve lunch to students at Swift Elementary during its annual
Thanksgiving feast. Many schools hosted Thanksgiving meals with
parents and grandparents attending.

Wimbish Elementary received $2,500 for its physical education
program in the Hometown Huddle program.
