Arlington ISD Education Foundation to
Honor “Dream Makers”
The Arlington ISD Education
Foundation is hosting its inaugural
Dream Makers Banquet on Feb. 25
at Cacharel Grand Ballroom in
Arlington. “This event is designed
to showcase our outstanding AISD
educators and also thank our supporters throughout the
years,” said Linda Dipert, chair of the event. The banquet
will focus on recent Foundation grant award recipients
from the AISD and recognize the community’s longtime
support of the organization.
“We are celebrating the Foundation’s record-breaking
financial support given to the AISD this past year and
our recent record-breaking fundraising success to make
this happen,” Dipert said. Since 1994, the Education
Foundation has awarded more than $1.3 million in grants
to all but one AISD campus - the newly opened Patrick
Elementary. “While we are happy with our recent successes,
we know there is tremendous potential to do more for our
schools through innovative partnerships with individuals,
organizations and businesses.”
The event will also display the exemplary artwork of
53 AISD fifth-grade students. Their plates with artistic
designs will be available for purchase at a silent auction
before the banquet.
Table sponsorships are $350, and individual tickets are $35.
