Jordan Lee from Lamar High School brought home three state
titles in the Girls Wheelchair division in the State Championship
in May. She captured the shot put at 17-5 1/2, the 100-meter
dash in 21.28, and the 400-meter dash in 1:19.49.

Former and current teachers, staff and students bid farewell to Roquemore Elementary as it will transition into being only the
new Jones Academy of Fine Arts and Dual Language in the fall.

Work has started on the future Outdoor Performance Area next to the Jones Academy of Fine Arts and Dual Language. It doesn’t
look like much yet, but it will in the late fall. Thanks to Texas Trust Credit Union for helping make this amphitheater a reality!
