BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
The Arlington Housing Authority (AHA) Board of Commissioners is comprised
of five dedicated community leaders committed to accomplishing the AHA’s
mission. The Commissioners strive to ensure that the AHA provides a full range
of housing opportunities to enable clients to reach their highest potential. The
Commissioners regularly review the performance of programs and set policies
that utilize key strategies and high ethical standards.
In FY 2014, the AHA welcomed Ms. Marlo Hunter as the new Resident
Commissioner to the Board.
In 2007, Ms. Hunter became a participant in the
Family Self Sufficiency program. Over the past
seven years, Ms. Hunter worked diligently to
attain the goals she set upon entry to the Family
Self Sufficiency program. Ms. Hunter established
goals in the areas of education, career, credit
repair and home ownership. With the guidance
and expertise she received from AHA and partner
agencies, and a lot of hard work on her part, she
successfully completed all her goals, including
the purchase of her first home.
