News from the Copper State Peruvian Paso Club M embers of the Copper State Peruvian Paso Club met recently at BEL Peruvians in Scottsdale. One of the main topics on the agenda was planning for winter and spring events. The cooler fall weather has made us all want to hit the trails again on our smooth gaited Peruvian Horses. Also on the agenda is the Winter Celebration which will be at the new ranch home of Eddie and Elaine Klugman in Scottsdale. Our breed registry, the North American Peruvian Horse Association, is holding our National Show the weekend of October 10-12 in Tunica MS. Katie O’Shea, one of our newest members, will be showing her stallion and we wish her much success. The Peruvian Horse is the ultimate riding horse. Many Arizona owners use their horses for trail and pleasure riding, not just in the show arena. Our owners are ambassadors of the breed and are always willing to share their delight and pleasure in owning these horses with unique characteristics of good temperament, willingness and smooth riding gait. For more information, please visit the Copper State Peruvian Paso Club website, www.csppc.net, to find an owner near you and make an appointment for a visit. See these wonderful horses and learn why we love them so much. It’ll be a wonderful introduction to the breed with the “ultimate ride”! Our president, Liz Potof, is always available to take your call – 602-7994913. And check us out on Facebook!
