John Eric Band and “The
Troubadour Experience”
C
arrying on in true George Strait tradition, The Troubadour
Experience welcomes you to a live authentic tribute to country
music’s most legendary performer, spanning a 32-year career and
charting more #1 hit’s than any other artist, in any genre at 60 and
counting. The Troubadour Experience features authentic performances of
George Strait’s #1 hits such as “Fool Hearted Memory”, “All My Exes Live
In Texas”, “Ocean Front Property”, “The Chair”, “Here For A Good Time”
and many more! Incorporating all of the real concert production it will
look, sound and feel as if you are truly at a George Strait concert.
Unlike most tribute shows these days, no “tracks” are used during any
performance. Every instrument and vocal you hear is being played
live! Each member of the band was hand chosen for their expertise and
attention to detail. Every time they hit the stage, they bring a true passion
and love for traditional country music. The members of The Troubadour
Experience are no stranger to the big stage. They have opened for
National Acts such as Tracy Lawrence (4 times), Pat Green (2 times),
Mark Wills (2 times), Gary Allan, Chris Ledoux, The Bellamy Brothers,
Tracy Byrd, Ty Herndon, Deana Carter and Blackhawk to name a few.
For the millions of George Strait fans and country music lovers alike,
The Troubadour Experience is a must see! Put on your boots and jeans
and come re-live your favorite memories and make new ones as you’re
entertained in true George Strait and The Ace In The Hole Band fashion.
John Eric’s passion to play music has been sidelined a few times in the last
8 years due to health issues, but his commitment and drive is stronger than
ever. John was diagnosed with kidney failure in April of 2006. He spent the
next 2 and a half years on dialysis waiting for a kidney transplant. October
26, 2008 that day finally came. John was given a new lease on life and
intends to take full advantage of it! John was born in Phoenix but has lived
abroad due to being a military brat (father is retired Army aviator). He
spent a few years attending college in Seguin, Texas (in between Austin and
San Antonio). You can hear the influence Texas had coming thru in John’s
music and style. John’s influences include George Strait, Tracy Byrd, Clay
Walker, Merle Haggard, and Pat Green to name a few.
John has had the honor of opening for major acts such as:
• Deana Carter and Blackhawk @ Celebrity Theatre 1997
• Mark Wills @ Toolies Country 1998
• Tracy Byrd and Tracy Lawrence @ Ak-Chin Pavilion 1998
• Bird’s Nest @ The Phoenix Open 1998
