aturday, November 8th, was the 2nd Annual Rockstars for
Rachel Memorial Barrel Race and Family Gymkhana at
Welcome Home Ranch in Gilbert. The event was held in
honor of Rachel Farenbaugh who was a cherished member of
the Southwest Arizona Sisters, Inc. (SASI) equestrian drill team.
Tragically, in 2013 she passed away from an aortic aneurysm
leaving behind two very young sons and her husband. In order to
honor her memory, her family and to aid in cardiac care research, the event is turning into
an annual barrel race and gymkhana.
