In latest commission, design firm CAPEXUS overhauled the offices of Siemens in
Plzeň, the Czech Republic. The CAPEXUS architect, Tereza Bradová, chose to replace
often used basic colors with bright and saturated gradients of green, blue and red.
Forming patterns on floors and vivifying the overall appearance of each room, the
colors make bold statement: offices should be fun! CAPEXUS architect designed
bottom one, the sleek reception and two red Softline Havana armchairs give a warm
and built two floors for Siemens. Spiral staircase connects two floors and on the
welcome to guests. The reception incorporates a plexiglass with a LED lighting
showing a carved out image of a special module that Siemens engineers developed.
Plexiglass thus communicates the company’s culture and goal. Except of offices,
meeting rooms, kitchens, lounge room and reception, CAPEXUS also arranged
labs where Siemens engineers work on various projects. Whitewashed walls act
as a neutral backdrop for pops of color that can be seen at furniture, floors and
and offers employees a needed respite and also a screen to connect with colleagues
sitting in Prague - is colored in deep rich hues. The architect chose the atypical
carpenty that proves that every squre inch can be used. This niche now serves as
informal seating next to the reception, while on the other floor, it works as a place to
respite.

최근 프로젝트에서 디자인 회사 카펙서스는 체코 플젠에 있는 시멘스 오피스를 재단장했다.
카펙서스 건축가 테레자 브라도바는 흔히 사용되는 기본 색상을 밝고 강렬한 녹색, 파란색,
빨간색으로 교체했다. 바닥 패턴과 각 공간 분위기에 생동감을 더하는 색상 구성은 사무실이

즐거운 곳이어야 한다는 강한 의미를 전달한다. 카펙서스 건축가는 시멘스를 위해 두 개 층의
설계와 시공을 진행했다. 나선형 계단은 두 층을 연결하고, 아래 층의 세련된 리셉션과 두 개의
붉은색 소프트라인 하바나 안락의자는 손님을 따뜻하게 맞이한다. 리셉션에 사용된 플렉시
글라스와 LED 조명은 시멘스 엔지니어가 개발한 특별 모듈이 새겨진 이미지를 보여주고, 이를
통해 플렉시 글라스는 회사의 문화와 목표를 나타낸다. 사무실, 회의실, 주방, 라운지, 리셉션과
함께 카펙서스는 시멘스 엔지니어가 다양한 프로젝트를 할 수 있는 실험실을 설치했다. 흰색으로
마감된 벽은 가구, 바닥과 장식의 강렬한 색상을 아우르는 중립적 배경이다. 주방 맞은편에
자리하여 직원에게 휴식처를 제공하고 프라하 지사 동료와의 소통을 위한 스크린이 설치된
라운지는 깊고 풍성한 색상으로 마감됐다. 건축가는 아무리 작은 공간도 유용하게 사용될 수
있음을 보여주는 독특한 목공 기술을 적용했다. 이 틈새 공간은 리셉션 옆에 편안한 좌석 공간을
형성하고 다른 층에서는 휴식 공간으로 이용된다.
