Cell C Towers

C

ell C, a leading South African cellular provider, has built a
magnificent new campus in the Waterfall Business Estate in
Midrand. This new head office has two Iconic towers, one
at either end of the development. BEKA Schréder was tasked to
provide a solution to illuminate these two Cell C branded towers.
The solution implemented was LED technology due to many
obvious advantages. It is also a technology that lends itself to
dynamic lighting which was required for this project.
BEKA Schréder supplied a total of 222 luminaires for the two
towers, consisting of the BEKA LEDbeam, BEKA LEDrail and BEKA
LEDtube linear LED luminaires, and the BEKA LEDflood, an LED
floodlight, to meet the desired vision and required illumination
effect set out by the client.
All of those luminaires can be controlled individually by means of
DMX, reproducing various colours including the corporate colours
of Cell C.
Besides the dynamic lighting used, a new RGBW printed circuit
board had to be developed and manufactured locally to meet the
