Parking levels P0 and P1 are cost effective
post tensioned suspended slabs, also on
split level. All parking levels, basement and
suspended, are naturally ventilated.
The structure above the parking levels is
designed as reinforcement coffer slabs from
atrium level (off street pedestrian access from
Grand Central and Bond Street) up to roof
level. The atrium up to 3rd floor is designed
for general office loading. The ‘clearstorey’ is
essentially a planted roof slab with a lightweight
steel roof over the atriums. The roof slab is only
44 on Grand Central
situated over the central lift and toilet core
and will be used for various electrical and the
mechanical plant.
