first visual of what can be expected from the interior. From the starting point being the reception counter, simulating a crystalised copper segment from another world, to the bespoke boardroom table by Dahla Hume, made from solid wood, glass and copper designed in collaboration with i4c. Each area in the office space was carefully thought out to transport the Schneider team and visitors to different worlds. The staircase interlinks the two floors above reception and transports the user to different worlds which include caravans and shipping containers turned into informal meeting rooms. Teams can meet at areas with swinging sofas and timber houses if the caravan is occupied. Graffiti by Mars fills the walls with Schneider’s key values and inspiring quotes. Allandale From the first day the Schneider employees entered the building they embraced their new environment and made use of the collaborative areas and the idea of exploring new worlds and a new working environment. An exciting, fun and yet functional slide was installed for a fast and exhilarating experience to the floors below. The end result is most definitely a unique interior where beauty and functionality unite, making a work day at Schneider something to look forward to.
