when combined with light. Designs utilising
backlighting show off the stone, literally, in its
best light. Applications include Reception
Desks, Bars, Lighting Fixtures and, when com-
bined with LED’s a wall and ceiling cladding
to stunning effect.
Flavours, Liquors and Fragrances
Faux Translucent Stone has been tested by
us for applications in direct contact with
flavours, liquors and fragrances. We did not
notice any difficulties removing stains,
discolourisation or traces of chemical
damage. This is another fantastic reason
why Faux Translucent Stone is very popular
for applications in retail and hospitality.
Wall Cladding
Faux Translucent Stone is beautiful when used as wall cladding. The
material can be used for backlit applications, but is also just as elegant
and effective without light. The material is also suitable for applications
in wet surroundings such as bathrooms as the chemical resistance is
very good and it can easily be cleaned and maintained.
Reception Desks and Bars
Faux Translucent Stone sheets weigh significantly less
then real natural stone. That is why this material is very
popular (e.g. with yacht interiror designers). The mate-
rial is often used for back-lit reception desks, bars and
counters, in both the hopsitality and retail industry.
Due to the materials unique properties, we can bond,
drill and even bend it!
