It can be worked like normal wood
and subsequently bent by hand
in a cold (no heating) and dry (no
steaming or wetting) condition. This
enables the reduction of working
costs, as well as an improvement in
quality, as the wood is only worked
along the grain.
Bendywood® is available in beech,
oak, maple, ash, elm, cherry and
walnut.
Bendywood® can be bent up to a
radius of about 10 times its own
thickness. It is supplied in straight
condition and profiled and bent by
the customer himself.
