Alumen, is getting creative by
manufacturing a unique octagon
rooflight from its Helios range.
Alan Robinson, Alumen’s MD says: “As
an experienced aluminium fabricator,
with a heritage in manufacturing a wide
range of products, we love a challenge
and this bespoke request gave us the
perfect chance to test the capabilities of
the Helios.
“The Helios is the contemporary square
rooflight has a raised chamfered
edge, is fixed or opening, and has
endless options on size and shape – as
demonstrated in this project where we
were asked to fabricated an octagon
shaped rooflight to form the centre of
the roof in a garden pavilion.

Desso, a Tarkett company, is launching
Jeans and Ridge – the latest additions
to the ‘Essentials’ collection, celebrating
iconic textiles.
Inspired by the diversity and democracy
of denim, Desso is introducing Jeans,
a new carpet tile reflecting the textile’s
iconic status. The range provides six
individual interpretations of denim,
designed for an unmistakable and
unique identity.
Ridge is a finely textured carpet tile
that offers simple and timeless design.

With the introduction of the Yasahiro,
a modern take on the Japanese ofuro
bath, Cabuchon now offers designers a
choice of five luxury soaking tubs.
Cabuchon launched the Imersa - the
world’s first modern soaking tub - in
1991. Today, it offers four more, all of
which save space, water and energy.
The Calyx is a minimalist-style tub,
made distinctive by its clean lines and
low, integrated seat. The Nirvana is an
armchair-style soaking tub, complete
with internal armrests and footrests. The
Xanadu is a two-person soaking tub. The
Yasahiro is the latest generation soaking
tub, featuring a carefully sculpted back
and increased legroom.
All models are supremely comfortable.
They are handmade in Britain and
compatible with Cabuchon’s bespoke
hydrotherapy systems.
