Laser Experts Bring Unique Art To Life Laser cutting and engraving specialist Cutting Technologies has teamed up with renowned artist, Tom Hiscocks to produce several intricate laser-cut sculptures. Tom recently created two console tables with male and female torso sculptures using cor-ten before being copper plated. The commission came following the Harrogate International Visual Arts Fair in November which featured a series of Tom’s figurative sculptures made in either metal or acrylic – each having been laser-cut by Cutting Technologies. Our growing relationship with Tom showcases what can be done using materials such as cor-ten, steel and acrylic and intricate laser cutting.” Laser specialist Cutting Technologies firmly believes that the only barrier to what can be laser cut and engraved is one’s imagination. Whether it’s one-off, unique intricate laser cut cor-ten which forms a console table, or a spectacular laser cut decorative panel in wood, Cut Tec’s lasers have seen it all over the past 13 years. www.cut-tec.co.uk
