QUALITY OF LIFE
A community’s overall quality of life depends on a multitude of factors, some which
can be subjective. Due in part to its climate, residents in South Texas tend to lack
outdoor activities. In the WalletHub survey specifically for an active lifestyle, Laredo
is ranked last among 100 U.S. cities due to its lack of sports facilities and outdoor
environment, as well as low participation of recreation from residents. The rankings for
Corpus Christi and San Antonio are similarly low.
