The Horse of the North Challenge
held in Charters Towers, Queensland
from the 23rd - 25th May 2019,
has once again been an outstanding
event of horsemanship and quality
horses on display that makes the
Horse of the North a ‘must do’ event
on the Performance Horse Calendar.
A
s the sun rose over the Dalrymple
Equestrian Centre on the first day of
the event, the atmosphere was filled
with excitement for we knew with
the impressive line-up of quality horses and
exceptional horsemanship of our competitors, a
great show was going to unfold over the coming
3 days.
The feedback from the event has been sensational
and this is reflected in the number of competitors
that keep coming back each year. Since the
beginning of the Horse of the North event in 2007,
the calibre of competitors in the challenge exceeds
all expectations year after year and 2019 continued
this tradition.
We must acknowledge and thank our cattle donors
for the event, The Jack & Yasmin Mann. The lovely
line of cattle made for a successful event and
without your contribution the event would not be
possible.
