SHOW REPORTS
This year’s Breed For The Future Sale was
another success, with 14 lots grossing
$212,500 for an average of $15,179.
There was a huge crowd of keen
spectators and bidders in a setting which
was second to none for the impressive
line of yearling fillies, with a strong sale
catalogue boasting highly sought after
and rarely offered female genetics.
Top priced offering was Lot 14
“Conserene A1-12799” on account of
Mark & Janelle Simshauser of Kempsey
Quarter Horses. The stunning black
filly by Hazelwood Conman and out of
Novice mare Sereness (Acres Destiny x
Oaks Serene) was beautifully presented by
LWS Performance Horses and was well
bought after some competitive bidding
for $40,000, by Willinga Park. A top class
filly, we are sure Terry will enjoy her!
Other highlights included the sale of Lot
10 “G IMA Spicy Minx Q-93163”, offered
by Joel & Julie Duff, JND Ventures Pty
Ltd. The striking bay Sophisticated Catt
filly out of NCHA Derby Res. Champion
and Open Campdraft winner GI Jane
Q-50453, sold for $29,000. We also saw
Lot 15, on account of Tom Williamson,
“Baby Boon A2-3537” - a lovely chestnut
