Saturday the 9th of June saw Lynda MacCal- lum show Get Hawky Q-82246 to win the Non Pro Derby Amateur Championship, with an exciting and skillful 213 point run. Melissa Speed finished as the Reserve Cham- pion with a 210 marking run aboard Lady Exes Q-83359. Winning the Senior Youth with a crowd pleasing 218 point run was Bridget Chris- tensen showing Peptos Pistol (ET) Q-62220, a daughter of Peptos Stylish Oak (imp) Q-39269 and Lola Pistola (imp) Q-57886. Earning 214 points and the Reserve Championship was Romi Eckermann riding Broomfield Stylish Acre Q-67789. The explosive cutting horse owned by Tessajo Pty Ltd, One Roan Peptos Q-55501, the son of Peptos Stylish Oak (imp) and the exceptional cutting horse One Moore Spin Q-24600, proved yet again why he is a crowd favourite. With Heath Sinclair aboard the stylish stallion he marked an explosive 219 points to claim the Open Gold Cup Champion Title from a field of 25 exceptional cutting horses. Earning the Reserve Cham- pionship Title, with a brilliant 217 points was the NCHA Futurity Champion Heavy Metal (IIU) Q-73396, a son of Metallic Cat Q-72828 and Reyk It In Q-72174, shown by Todd Graham for owners Jodie Mearns and Chris Ware. Sunday the 10th of June, the final day of com- petition at the SDP Buffalo Ranch NCHA Futurity Show saw Lynda MacCallum take home another Championship Title, when she rode Catsasmart Q-77593 to share the Non Pro Classic Challenge with Philip Conaghan showing Suicide Blonde Q-80692. Bet Hes Stylish Q-81814 Duplicity Q-84472 One Roan Peptos Q-55501 Metallic Storm A2-3151 Get Hawky Q-82246 Suicide Blond Q-80692 Hamish Dunbier rode High On Melody Q-64156 to win the Junior Youth, with an in- credible 216 point run. Finishing second with a great score of 213 points was Macey Tanner riding More Than Reddy Q-62229. Amelia Servin showed Fancy Grass A3-769 to earn 216 points and the Non Pro Derby Championship Title. Amelia also showed Lady Too Suen Q-82245 to earn 213.5 points and the Reserve Championship. From an exceptional field of 120 three year old cutting horses the Open Futurity Final saw 20 brilliant horses perform in front of the excited crowd that witnessed great runs one after the other, with Duplicity Q-84472, a 2015 daughter of Dual Rey (IS) Q-52538 and Dainty Pepto Girl Q-74778, shown by Todd Graham, earning 223 points and taking home the one title that every breeder, owner and trainer dream of.
