Cheeky Attitude Q-21972 was born in Novem- ber 1999 and was purchased by the Robb family as a two year old from the Rock- hampton Futurity Sale. From there he competed in Cutting for a number of years and became a valuable asset to Don Robb racing stables as an educator to young breakers and pre trainers. He was also shown by Sara Robb as a Hunter, winning Supreme and many Championships. Darcy’s father was work- ing with Don on yearling preparation in 2012 when he asked him if he knew of any larger horses available, as Darcy, his daughter had grown six inches in four months and was getting too big for her pony. Don generously offered them Cheeky to try. To fast forward this six years and there isn’t a disci- pline they hadn’t tried. Sporting, Campdrafting, Team Penning, ODE, Hacking, Horseball, Polocrosse, Show- jumping, Working Equitation, Barrel Racing, Working Horse Challenges, mounted games and team sporting. You ask Cheeky for something and he always tries, except for swimming. He can’t swim and sinks like a stone. They have now competed all over NSW in Pony Club State events and also in Qld.  Here are some of Cheeky’s achievements: - State Events:  • 2015 Coonamble, NSW (3rd Overall Sporting) • 2015 Roma, QLD (5th Overall Sporting, 2nd Overall Formal Gymkhana) • 2016 Oakey, QLD (5th Overall Formal Gymkhana, 6th Overall Sporting) • 2017 Gravesend NSW (4th Overall Sporting) • 2017 Roma QLD (4th Overall Sporting, 2nd Overall Formal Gymkhana) • 2018 North Doriggo NSW (3rd Overall Sporting) • 2018 Maryborough QLD (6th Overall Sporting, 6th Overall Campdraft, 4th Overall Formal Gymkhana) AQHA Titles 2016/17 12-14 years Category 2 2016/17 Category 2 NSW 2016/17 Youth Pony Club Sporting 2016/17 Youth Showjumping 2017/18 15-18 Years Category 2 2017/18 Category 2 NSW 2017/18 Youth Pony Club Sporting 2017/18 Youth Eventing 24 • The Australian Quarter Horse Magazine • January • February • 2019
