Horses Amateur Owner Western Pleasure Stakes. This
was hotly contested, with Tenielle O’Brien taking home
the buckle, rug and Silver Star Headpiece on her horse,
You Don’t Know Jack Q-78023. Danielle Kraft on her
horse SomejuslikeTo Smooch took out Reserve Champion.
Friday saw another big day of Trails in the morning, with
the $1,000 Christine Icredit Open Trail Stakes the last
of the Trails. Our Champion here was Trish Wettenhaul
riding a great pattern on Triandibo Incede Q-58481 for
Christian taking home a buckle, rug, Show Classics Vest
and Show Pad. Matt Frieberg rode Splash Of Potential
Q-80877 for owner Penelope Woodhead into Reserve, also
taking home Sign ur Neigh’m prize along with third place.
Saturday morning the Showmanship took to the arena
again and was hotly contested by Youth and Amateurs.

Under Saddle Derby winner was Kristy Moberley
riding Lopes N Dreams Q-80757
Our first feature of the day was $4,000 Derek Rolls Con-
tracting 4 & 5 Yr Old Western Pleasure Derby. Our Cham-
pion taking home a buckle, rug and GWR Show Shirts
Voucher was Somjustlike To Smooch Q-80519 with Matt
Freiberg smiling from ear to ear for owner Danielle Kraft.
Reserve Champion saw A Ranged Investment Q-81302
with Carolyn Johnson aboard for owner Theresa Zelanek.
First, second and third all took home a bag of Barastoc.
The $2,000 All Type Welding Senior Western Pleasure
Stakes was next with Kane Skopp, riding Man What A
Diva Q-80663 out for the Champion taking home a buckle,
rug and Branded Dusty Lane prize for his owners, the
Fielden Family. Reserve Champion was Radical Signs R
Good Q-73596 who jogged out for his owner Donna Grech,
plus Tatura Farm Supplies product.
The Youth got their chance next with the DKE Open
Youth Western Pleasure Stakes, with the Champion
Kyah Carson with a big smile on her family’s horse, No
Doubt Im Dreamin Q-91150, taking home a buckle, rug
and Branded Dusty Lane prize. Taking out Reserve was
Kyah’s big brother Taj on another of the family’s horses,
Sweet Potential Q-90577.
Rockin Horse Ranch Senior Horse Hunter Under Saddle
Derby winner was Raelene Gilboy riding Iron Age
Q-68405 son Ampleur Hot To Trot.
The Select Amateurs were next to strut their stuff for
the judges with Rebecca Fatchen on her lovely mare,
Shes Good Hot Stuff Q-79087, taking out the Champion
and taking home a buckle, rug and Graceful Couture Vest
Voucher - out for Reserve Champion was Loni Hensel on
her gelding, GJC Surely Im Lopin Q-71391.
We then had a short break for the $15,000 Argent Farm
Quarter Horses 3 Yr Old Western Pleasure Slot. In the
break all owners or a representative were
introduced to the crowd and presented with a bottle
of Champagne. A small field this year, but not lacking in
quality. All horses and riders were presented
beautifully.
The Gold Pass 3 yr old & Over Maiden Western
Pleasure Derby winner was Holly Johnson riding
son of RL Best of Sudden Q-71538 RD Livin the
Dream
The Judges decision was No Doubt About Him Q-85991,
with Kane Skopp jogging out for the Champion taking
home buckle, rug, Deegs Metalworks Trophy and a
D,jango Show Pad Voucher, for Rockin Horse Ranch.
Reserve Champion saw RD Livin The Dream, with Holly
Johnson aboard, come out for the Hupp Family. Reserve
Champion and third place also received Natures Farmacy
products.
A change of pace then, with some Western Riding and Hunter
In Hand. Change of saddle was next, with the $1000 Dean
Jones Trailers Amateur Owner Hunter Saddle Stakes. Here we
saw Lyndall Dauth canter out for Champion on her horse, VS
Heartbeat Q-73998, taking home a buckle, rug and Sweet Pro
product. Pam Jones on her horse Lopes N Dreams Q-80757
cantered their way into Reserve Champion.
Summer Sizzler Select Stallion Sale 3 yr old Western
Pleasure KND Too Lazy To Skip Q-85262 owned by Ruby
Lang and ridden by Kristy Mobberly. Sire: Potentially
Lazy Q-80082 owned by Ken & Nicole Davison.
