by Loren V. Kiner Hello Loren, Any help will be appreciated. I have a 2002 Pontiac Gran Prix. At times the check engine light will stay illuminated and other times it will flash. Why would it flash? The Pontiac does run rough at times and I am getting terrible gas mileage. Also every time I have my brakes replaced they start squeaking shortly. I can not afford a new car at this time.
