CMAI CSR CMAI Conducts Two-Day Free Eye Camp for Workmen in Mumbai The Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI) conducted a Two-day Free Eye Check-up Camp on March 11 and 12, 2019, for the Workmen of the Garment Units in Jogeshwari, Mumbai. The Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI) conducted a Two-day Free Eye Check-up Camp for the Workmen of the Garment Units in and around Jogeshwari, Mumbai. The Camp was organised at Shreeji Industrial Estate, Subhash Road, Jogeshwari (East), Mumbai 400 060 on March 11 and 12, 2019 from 10 AM to 6 PM. The Eye Camp was inaugurated by Mr V M Kulkarni – Chairman, CSR Sub-Committee, along with Mr Rajesh Masand – Vice President, Mr Rohit Munjal, Honorary Treasurer, CMAI by Lighting the lamp in the presence of Other Managing Committee and CSR Sub- Committee Members, Members of CMAI in the Shreeji Industrial Estate, and Doctors of K B H Bachooali Charitable Ophthalmic & ENT Hospital. Inaugurating the Eye Camp, Mr Rajesh Masand appreciated the initiative taken by CMAI and the CSR Sub-Committee for arranging a Free Eye Check-up Camp at Jogeshwari. Mr V M Kulkarni, Chairman, CSR Sub- Committee, CMAI, thanked the Members at Shreeji Industrial Estate for arranging the space 16 I APPAREL I April 2019 required, for extending support and for providing excellent arrangements. The Inauguration ceremony was broadcast live on social media. Mr V M Kulkarni also thanked the Doctors of K B H Bachooali Charitable Ophthalmic & ENT Hospital for their support in providing teams of Doctors for conducting the Eye check-ups and suggestive corrective action and follow-up to be done at the Hospital. A Total of 698 workmen were examined during the Two-day Camp; 521 persons were given free Reading and Bifocal Glasses as prescribed. Mr Kulkarni also thanked the teams of Doctors of K B H Bachooali Charitable Ophthalmic & ENT Hospital for doing the Eye check-up of patients and for arranging the Reading Glasses.
