embellished street styles. Nikhita Tandon
for Mynah Designs unveiled ‘Every Drop
Counts’ inspired by the ocean that featured
minis, off-shoulder jumpsuits, shorts and
trousers in georgette, crêpe, net, patched
leather and fabrics for semi-formal prêt
wear. Pawan Sachdeva’s line ‘Decode’ was
in orange, green and yellow with neon and
black as the hues.
Rohit Karma’s ‘Rajasthan Roots’ had
angarkhas, achkans, bundgalas, hunting
jackets and jodhpurs. Siddhartha Tyler’s
all-black body con line brought catsuits and
gowns with crystal detailing and cutouts to
the forefront.
The Grand Finale was devoted to the six-
yard wonder—the sari—with 21 designers
who unveiled their version of the traditional

amazing creativity.
The ‘Liva Protégé ’18’ Show featured 12
collections by students from different fashion
institutes in India from where 3,000 designers
participated. Using Liva fabrics, the students
presented collections for men and women
that will promote the concept of green
fashion. The winner was Tista Roy, National
Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, with Aditi Vij
from Pearl Academy, Delhi and Nishigandha
Khaladkar from National Institute of Design,
Ahmedabad coming second and third. Q
